What will you do first? Why? I will first start of by designing the setting and environment of the game. I will add the obstacles and bad guys that the player will have to face. I will do this first because this is the main step for this project. I will need to this step first before I can do anything else.
How will you insure that you complete the project on time?
I will make sure that my game is finished on time by setting goals for myself and making sure that I accomplish them. I will also use my class time wisely and take work on my project at home to insure that it is complete on time.
Who will test beta versions of your game?
I will test the beta version of the game myself and with the help of my classmates. I will take the suggestions my classmates give me to improve my game. I will try to get more than one person to test my game because it is best to get a second opinion.
Will you incorporate other people’s suggestions into your game’s design?
The reason for testing the game is to get suggestions from classmates to improve the game. So I will take the suggestions my classmates give me into my design. They also did the investigation at Spolder.com so I trust that they too have a sense of what makes a game good. I will incorporate people’s suggestions if they are feasible and if their suggestion will make a difference.
How will you decide if you have created a good game or not?
I will decide if I have designed a good game or not by checking if it fits the criteria for a good game which I described in my investigation. I will know if I have a good game by playing it myself; if I enjoy the game and I want to play it again and again then I know I have designed a good game.
